The WMSF scholarship allows me to pursue my academic and professional goals in government, policy, and public relations. This award is an encouraging step forward in earning my undergraduate degree and an incredible opportunity for students with similar interests.

Ashlyn Herring University of Virginia

The WMSF scholarship has allowed me to move forward with my education. Recently I have faced adversity head on through brain surgery and radiation which has taken a great toll on me. This scholarship has allowed me to relieve some financial stress and allowed me to have confidence within myself when returning back to school this fall. It has also allowed me to be able to reflect on myself and what I would like to pursue within my future career.

Jasmine Mann Spelman College

The Media Fellows Scholarship allows me to continue pursuing my career through the intersections of policy and PR rather than focus on the financial strain I face as a first-gen, low-income student to ensure my academic success.
