Job Description:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Client Sales Planner at Locality is an entry-level sales position and a great opportunity to enter the exciting field of Advertising Television Sales. In this support role, the Client Sales Planner assists Locality sellers in their sales efforts advancing commercial airtime inventory for the client television stations. As a liaison working with TV station personnel across the country and regional advertising agencies and media buyers, the Client Sales Planner plays a key role in processing and maintaining the television commercial airtime schedules.

At Locality, we pride ourselves in our commitment to promoting from within and offer training at all levels of advancement. Our hands-on approach to training ensures our Client Sales Planners are prepared to handle the various tasks responsible in their role.

Accurately input and transmit political broadcast sales orders to client television stations.
Ensure all orders are confirmed promptly and the in-house dashboard accurately reflects order status.
Maintain current on-air contracts by processing changes and reporting any adjustments to the schedule.
Collaborate with station personnel to create alternative program offers to propose and negotiate with agency media buyers.
Inform agency buyers of station program changes and outstanding preemptions.
Provide exact time reports and resolve discrepancies with agency buyers.
Analyze TV ratings data (Nielsen and comScore)
Update TV advertising database software to ensure station programs are accurate.

Additional Information

Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary of $40,000 and an excellent benefits package (including but not limited to health care benefits, retirement benefits and paid days off).
